Terry started his professional photographic career at the award winning Oxford Mail and Times newspaper group. Five years on the busy photographic team allowed Terry to build an impressive portfolio set against the beautiful backdrop of the dreaming spires of Oxford. The popularity of the city allowed Terry to photograph a multitude of celebrities, members of the Royal Family and a host of top sporting and cultural events. Terry was then selected to train for the Westminster Press Diploma in Journalism and three years later, he became one of the first photographers in the country to attain the dual qualification of both photographer and journalist. Since going freelance in 1998, Terry has worked not only in the UK but on commissions in Europe and the United States. Other notable commissions have included a stint in War-torn Bosnia, working at 10 Downing Street and a one-to-one shoot with Robbie Williams backstage at Wembley. Terry has also photographed Craig David, Destiny's Child, Tom Jones, Busted, Atomic Kitten, Deep Purple and many more. In 2004 Terry moved Lee Images to spacious new premises at Bloxham Mill and his studio now offers fashion photography aimed at the health and fitness and hair and beauty markets. The Lee Images studio also offers fun and relaxed lifestyle portraiture. On a personal level, Terry is married to Tracey and has a son called Toby. The Lee's live close to the studio in Bloxham along with two Norfolk Terriers, Paddy and Crumble. When not taking pictures, Terry can either be found drumming or polishing his classic cars. |
